Katia Skanavi's concert was postponed to Monday, February 13th at 12:00 noon due to the snow storm. Russian Katia Skanavi, who won the Maria Callas Competition in 1994
and was a finalist in the '97 Van Cliburn Competition, was trained in
Moscow, Paris and Cleveland. "Everything she did was a joy, and
exactly the same can be said for her dashing performance of the Rachmaninoff-Paganini

Austin Hartman, violin Praised as "an ensemble of unusual communicative powers"

winner of the 2003 Naumburg Chamber Music Award, has quickly established
itself as one of the top young American quartets. Now at Yale University,
its members are teaching assistants to the Tokyo Quartet. Together with
guest Pavel Vannistky they will perform the Brahms Clarinet Quintet. |
